Seasonal recruitment for wind turbine study

June 20, 2018

Huron County, ON – Seasonal Huron County residents can participate in the Huron County Wind Turbine Study about Noise, Vibration and Light, if they will be living within 10 km of a wind turbine for at least one month.

A map showing what households are eligible can be found at huronhealthunit.ca/wind. We want to hear from those who do and do not have difficulties with wind turbines so we can look at differences between the two groups.

Participation involves returning a completed consent form, doing the Registration Survey, and completing the Observation Diary. We are asking participants to complete the Observation Diary at least one week every month during the data collection period.

Recruitment is ongoing for the Huron County Wind Turbine Study about Noise, Vibration, and Light. Residents of Huron County who live within 10 km of a wind turbine are eligible to participate.

Recruitment ends October 31, 2018. Data collection ends December 1, 2018.  For more information, please visit huronhealthunit.ca/wind or contact the Huron County Health Unit at 519.482.3416 or 1.877.837.6143.
