This information will be used for the Huron County Economic Development department to help essential service businesses with interim workforce strategies to fill needed roles within the community.

COVID-19 – Huron County Cottagers: Safety First

Cottagers are encouraged to please consider the impact that these unexpected off-season relocations can have on rural communities. The County of Huron urges all residents and cottagers to avoid any non-essential travel. If you are a snowbird, or otherwise returning from travel abroad, the Government of Canada mandates that you self-isolate or self-quarantine for 14 days.

Warden Jim Ginn declared a State of Emergency for the County of Huron at approximately 4:00 PM today, March 24, 2020
