Notice: Special Session of County Council

Immediately following the Committee of the Whole Day 1 meeting
In the Court House Council Chambers, Goderich

Warden Joe Steffler has called a Special Session of Huron County Council, to be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 immediately following the Committee of the Whole Day 1 meeting.

The purpose of this Special Session is for Council to consider the following matters:

      • Consider approving the following motion: (presented at County Council on September 3, 2014) THAT:
        The recommendation of the Information Governance Steering Committee that the Council of the County of Huron approve the ECM project of $371,124 with $250,000 allocated from the 2014 Budget (already approved) and $121,124 from the 2015 Budget, be approved;
        AND FURTHER THAT:
        The Council of the County of Huron approve the recommendation by the Information Governance Steering Committee that the contract to supply, implement and train the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Solution be awarded to MC Imaging Technologies in the amount of $284,574;
        AND FURTHER THAT:
        A by-law be drafted authorizing the Warden and Clerk to sign all required documents.
      • Consider a By-law to Authorize the Execution of a Contract Agreement with MC Imaging Technologies (presented at County Council on September 3, 2014)
      • Consider a By-law delegating authority to the Chief Administrative Officer and Warden, in the event of a “Lame Duck” Council (presented at County Council on September 3, 2014)
