Screening of the Canadian drama film adapted from Kim Thúy’s award-winning 2009 novel Ru, and panel local refugee sponsors and families of Vietnamese, Lao and Cambodian descent who spent their first years in Canada in Huron County in the 1980s.
All are welcome to the Museum to celebrate the opening of the exhibit beyond ana on Saturday, Sept. 21. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with opening remarks at 7 p.m. in the Museum theatre before the exhibit viewing.
