211 Ontario’s New Campaign – Help Starts Here

November 16, 2016

211 Ontario with the support of Green Shield Canada and United Ways has developed a fall campaign called Help Starts Here. The goal across the country is to share the materials on or around November 2nd – so that there is media and social media buzz.  This content is suitable for sharing throughout November – December. The materials are available on the Ambassador site: http://ambassadors.211ontario.ca/helpstartshere2016/ As soon as they are translated the materials will also be available in French.

The Help Starts Here campaign is to raise awareness of the community services available to residents to cope with the challenges of winter, especially for those living on a low income or coping with a significant change in their circumstances.

We are also very pleased to share with you the link to the 4 minute video “211- Helping Healthcare Providers Connect People to the Services they Need” that was generously funded by Green Shield Canada and is available in English and French. There is a paragraph or two on the Ambassador site that can be used to send with the video links to support your distribution to your network of services.
