Public notice of the Corporation of the County of Huron Council’s intention to pass a by-law to permanently close part of the unopened road allowance

The Council of the County of Huron declared surplus the property described as: Part of the Huron County Road Allowance adjacent to the MTO-owned parcel along County Road 87, located within Lots 4 and 5 (Concession 9) in the Municipality of Howick at the Council Day 2 meeting on November 19, 2025.

The Council of the County of Huron intends to pass a By-law that permanently closes a highway for the subject property located at: Part of the Huron County Road Allowance adjacent to the MTO-owned parcel along County Road 87, located within Lots 4 and 5 (Concession 9) in the Municipality of Howick under By-law 2025-084, at the Council Day 1 meeting on December 3, 2025.

According to the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25 Section 34(1) a municipality shall give public notice of its intention to pass the By-law to permanently close a highway.
