Are you an established business who is looking to sell or transition? The Huron Business Centre can provide you with the tools, resources, and one-on-one support to help you prepare for the sale of your business.
Our Business Advisors can help you update your business plan, conduct a strategic review of your business operations, and support you as you build a team of professionals to prepare for the transition.
Programs and Financial Supports
We offer a variety of training, mentorship and financial support programs to help aspiring and existing owners start or expand their businesses in Huron County.
The Starter Company Plus Program provides training, mentorship, and grant opportunities up to $5,000 for eligible participants to start, expand, or buy a small business in Huron County.
The Summer Company Program aims to inspire students aged 15-29 to be their own boss each summer! Students receive mentorship, training and receive up to $3,000 in funding to start their business.
The Foodpreneur Advantage Program is for individuals looking to start or expand a food or beverage manufacturing business focused on consumer-packaged goods. Training and coaching available.

The County of Huron’s Economic Development Dashboard collects social and economic indicators from a wide variety of sources and presents them in one central location. This information represents everything from unemployment rates, infrastructure assets, labour force, key sector information, and much more.
Huron County Job Board
Our Job Board scrapes over 25+ local and national databases hourly to compile all Huron County postings in one convenient place. To have your job included on our board, simply post your opening to an online job search site like Indeed, LinkedIn, or the Job Bank and it will automatically populate on JobsInHuron.ca!
