The Kingsbridge Centre Presents: Celtic Blue Highlanders’ Ceilidh

September 20 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm EDT

Celtic Blue Highlanders is a community based, not for profit group, bringing Scottish heritage to Goderich and surrounding areas. Tickets are $20, with proceeds going to Alexandra Marine and General Hospital Foundation as chosen by the Celtic Blue Highlanders. The program begins at 7:30pm; doors will open an hour prior to the event. Refreshments available.

Huron Harvest

An Age of Majority fundraiser for Huron Residential Hospice.  This food and beverage tasting event features local restaurants, craft breweries, wineries and cideries, as well as the music of Thorn and Roses.  Tickets available at the door at Blooms 'n' Rooms, Pete's Office Pro, Seaforth Sewing Centre, Shell and Seaforth Legion. $25 in advance, $30 at the door.  Admission includes 4 food samples, 4 beverage samples and keepsake sampling glass.

Paid employment training for youth between the ages of 15-30, not attending fulltime education. Participants learn how to find and keep meaningful employment by attending 4 weeks of paid training/workshops and then complete an 8 week paid placement with a local employer. They also receive First Aid/CPR, Food Safety Training, WHMIS, Smart Serve, Customer Service and Soft Skills training. Workshops are held at The Centre for Employment and Learning in Clinton.
