Business Programs
Digital Service Squad
The Digital Service Squad members will provide one-on-one assistance to small businesses in Huron County, at no cost, to help them improve their use of digital technologies and enhance their online presence. The squad members can assist with a number of activities, including:
- A digital assessment of your business’ digital literacy
- Access to a free online video-based digital transformation training program
- Developing a basic web presence or enhance your existing web presence by helping you activate easy-to-use tools such as Google My Business and social media
- Applying for a $2,500 Digital Transformation Grant by assisting with the development of the Digital Transformation Plan portion of the application
Home Child Care Development Program
The Home Child Care Development Program, developed in partnership with Huron County Children’s Services and Huron County Economic Development, is aimed towards individuals interested in becoming approved home child care operators under the County’s Licensed Home Child Care program.
Ontario’s West Coast Signage Program
The Ontario’s West Coast Signage Program is available to eligible Huron County tourism businesses in order to provide roadway directions while elevating Huron County’s image as a tourist destination. Find out more about how you can be featured!
