Starter Company Plus Program Launches New Intake

Enrollment for the fall/winter intake for the Huron County Starter Company Plus program is now open. The program provides business training, coaching, mentorship and an opportunity to be awarded a grant of up to $5,000 for eligible participants to start, expand or buy a small business.

County of Huron Announces 2022 SLED Fund Recipients

The County of Huron’s annual Supporting Local Economic Development (SLED) program has awarded $87,500 to nine applicants that successfully demonstrated their projects would have a measurable economic impact.

Call for Artists: County of Huron seeking local artists to participate in the 2022 Huron County Mural Project.

Artists are invited to respond to an open call to participate in the Huron County Mural Project. This program will see the creation of six new public art murals in the communities of Bayfield, Clinton, Exeter, Goderich, Seaforth, and Wingham, between August and December, 2022. Artists may submit an Expression of Interest to be considered for the program.

The County of Huron’s Digital Service Squad Continues to Help Small Businesses Adopt and Improve Online Technologies.

Digital Service Squads (DSS) are the cornerstone of Digital Main Street (DMS) and the Huron County DSS will be providing one-on-one assistance to small businesses, at no cost, to help improve their use of digital technologies and enhance their online presence until December 31, 2023.
