Enrollment for the fall/winter intake for the Huron County Starter Company Plus program is now open. The program provides business training, coaching, mentorship and an opportunity to be awarded a grant of up to $5,000 for eligible participants to start, expand or buy a small business.
Economic Development
Artists are invited to respond to an open call to participate in the Huron County Mural Project. This program will see the creation of six new public art murals in the communities of Bayfield, Clinton, Exeter, Goderich, Seaforth, and Wingham, between August and December, 2022. Artists may submit an Expression of Interest to be considered for the program.
The County of Huron Economic Development Team recently received the Outstanding Multi Community With a Population 50,000 – 100,000 award from Business Retention & Expansion International (BREI) for their 2021 Business Retention and Expansion (BR&E) project.
Digital Service Squads (DSS) are the cornerstone of Digital Main Street (DMS) and the Huron County DSS will be providing one-on-one assistance to small businesses, at no cost, to help improve their use of digital technologies and enhance their online presence until December 31, 2023.
