With the first storm of the season underway, Huron County Public Works crews are actively maintaining County roads. Conditions today include significant blowing and drifting snow across many areas. In some locations, snow can accumulate on the roadway again shortly after a plow has passed, especially near open fields and farm properties.
Crews will continue to advance through their routes and return to areas as needed. USERS OF HURON COUNTY ROADS ARE ADVISED TO AVOID UNNECESSARY TRAVEL AND TO USE CAUTION IF DOING SO.
In accordance with Huron County Significant Weather Event Policy a Significant Weather Event is being declared in Huron County, North of Provincial Hwy #8 starting at 2025-11-28 07:13:06 and continuing until further notice.
