First Annual THRIVE Economic Development Summit to be held in May

Huron County, Ontario –The inaugural THRIVE Economic Development Summit will be held on May 14 and 15 at the Blyth Community Hall. This two-day event is a collaboration of the County of Huron’s Economic Development department and local Municipal Partners that promises to be a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, and progress.

The THRIVE Summit is an opportunity for individuals dedicated to the prosperity of Huron County to come together. Over the course of the Summit, attendees will have access to expert guest speakers, engaging panel discussions, and interactive breakout sessions. The event agenda has been crafted to address key opportunities and challenges facing the local economy, including pivotal topics such as:

  • Preparing for Business Transitions
  • Harnessing the Power of Artificial Intelligence
  • Elevating Tourism Marketing Strategies
  • Strengthening Workforce Recruitment and Retention Initiatives
  • Embracing the Essence of Placemaking
  • Celebrating Progress in Housing Advances
  • Fostering Belonging and Welcoming Communities for Newcomers
  • Exploring Investment Readiness and Opportunities

Tickets for the Summit are on sale now. Single day tickets for Day 1 and Day 2 are available for $40.00 per person, while a full two-day Summit pass is $75.00 per person. Ticket price includes refreshments, lunch, and exclusive networking opportunities at the end of each day.
