Digital Main Street is supported by key features that assist small businesses as they adopt digital tools, technologies and services.
The Province decided NOT to renew the Digital Main Street (DMS) Ontario Grants Program that includes the Digital Transformation Grant (DTG) and the Digital Service Squad (DSS) grant beyond March 31, 2024.

CDAP Grant
Eligible businesses will receive a micro-grant of up to $2,400 to help with the costs related to adopting e-commerce and supported by a network of e-commerce advisors.

Digital Main Street has compiled a list of tools, how-to guides, and tutorials available to assist all small business in embracing digital technology.
Digital Main Street – Huron County
With no Provincial funding for the Digital Service Squad, the Huron Business Centre no longer has a team member to provide one-on-one support for digital inquiries.
Moving forward, to support the digital needs of local businesses, Huron Business Centre staff will continue to:
- Host digital training workshops to encourage digital literacy.
- Connect businesses to free tools and resources to support their digital literacy.
- Provide a list of local fee-for-service providers that can help them accomplish their digital goals.
The Digital Main Street program started in the fall of 2019 and the Economic Development department has participated in the DSS grant program since inception. Over the course of the program, the Huron Business Centre has provided one-on-one digital support to over 500 local businesses and supported the distribution of 297 grants to Huron County businesses, totaling a value of $742,500.
