Volunteers Needed for Alice Munro Festival

January 16, 2015

Huron County, ON – The Alice Munro Festival of the Short Story invites individuals passionate about literature, arts and the community to fill vacancies on the planning committee! We are excited to be expanding our programming this year and are looking for people with leadership, administrative, organizational, and fundraising skills.

The Festival is a three-day event held in Huron County dedicated to nurturing emerging short story writers, and to developing an audience for the literary form that earned Alice Munro the 2013 Nobel Prize in Literature. A major component to the Festival is a short story writing competition that attracts international submissions.

If you are interested in joining the planning committee, please contact Susan or Connie at volunteers@alicemunrofestival.ca.
