STOP In the Name of Health!

Huron County, ON – Show some love to yourself this month by becoming smoke free.

“Smokers who quit decrease their risk of having a heart attack, a stroke and developing certain types of cancers,” says Public Health Nurse Julie Verch. “The Huron County Health Unit can help you give yourself the gift of health this Valentine’s.”

As your partner in health, the Huron County Health Unit is offering a STOP (Smoking Treatment for Ontario Patients) workshop in Goderich on February 26, 2015. The STOP Program offers eligible participants five weeks of cost-free nicotine replacement therapy as well as tips for making a quit attempt successful.

The STOP Program is put on in partnership with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
