The County of Huron is seeking public feedback related to the property tax treatment of unimproved commercial and industrial land. Those wishing to provide input on these matters may complete an online survey and submission form prior to October 26, 2020.

Huron County Launches Digital Service Squad to Help Small Businesses Adopt Online Technologies
Huron County Economic Development, in partnership with nine municipalities and the eleven Business Improvement Areas (BIA) and other business groups across the County, has received a $90,000 grant from Digital Main Street Ontario, funded by FedDev Ontario, for a Digital Service Squad to help main street businesses in the region use digital technologies to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Digital Service Squads are fundamental to Digital Main Street’s design and success, with trained specialists who meet with small businesses, at no cost, to help them improve their online presence.

Curbside service now available at all Huron County Library branches
Huron County Library is pleased to announce that as of August 15, 2020 curbside service is available at all 12 branches located throughout the County, including Alice Munro in Wingham, Bayfield, Blyth, Brussels, Clinton, Exeter, Goderich, Hensall, Howick, Kirkton, Seaforth, and Zurich.
