New Hours for Bayfield, Brussels, and Zurich Libraries Starting in May

June 24, 2016

Starting the week of May 24th, several branches of the Huron County Library will have additional hours of operation.

In addition to current hours, the Bayfield Branch will now be open throughout the year on Thursday evenings from 6-8 and Friday afternoons from 1-5. Brussels and Zurich Branches will now be open during the day on Wednesdays from 10 – 2.

“I encourage everyone to visit our new generation libraries and see what the HOOPLA is all about,” says Jim Fergusson, a counsellor of the Municipality of Bluewater and chair of the Huron County Library Board. “HOOPLA” refers to one of the many online resources available through the library for free movie and music streaming and e-book downloads. As well as online services, library branches also provide programs for all ages, information about the community, quiet places for learning or reading, and of course, materials such as books, magazines, video games, and movies.
