Huron County Public Health Professionals Recognized

Huron County, ON – Staff at the Huron County Health Unit are being celebrated on November 20 for the annual Public Health Professionals in Huron County Day.

The Health Unit has a range of highly skilled professionals working in many areas of public health to keep Huron County residents healthy and safe. The mandate of public health is to prevent injury and disease, promote wellness and protect health. The Huron County Health Unit has dozens of programs and services to meet their mandate.

Huron County Public Health Professional Day is marked the third Monday of every November. It’s an opportunity to highlight the important work being done across the county by public health professionals.
