COVID-19 – County of Huron Offices Closed to the Public

[Huron County, Ontario]- Huron County’s first and foremost objective is to ensure the safety of residents and staff. After careful consideration and closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation, all County of Huron offices are closed to the public, effective by end of day March 16, 2020 until further notice. County service delivery will continue.

This includes the following locations:

Huron County Administration Offices only, 1 Courthouse Square, Goderich

Huron County Economic Development Office, 54 West St, Goderich

Huron County Planning and Development Office, 57 Napier St, Goderich

Huron County Social and Property Services Office, 77722B London Rd, Clinton

Huron County Library Administrative Office, 77722B London Rd, Clinton

All Huron County Public Library Branch Locations

Huron County Museum, 110 North St, Goderich

Huron County Historic Gaol, 181 Victoria St N, Goderich

Closures will be reviewed on March 30, 2020 and further messaging will be provided regarding public access to County offices after that time. Please note that Ministry of Attorney General office located in the Huron County Courthouse, 1 Courthouse Square, Goderich, remains open.

Relying on advice from experts in risk management and loss prevention, Huron County is committed to doing its part to help slow the spread of this virus. Staff continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 and will provide updates as necessary. In addition, the County of Huron’s emergency management practices are in place.
