The Huron Perth Health Unit (the soon-to-be amalgamated entity of Huron County Health Unit and Perth District Health Unit) is seeking TWO Huron County Provincial Appointees to serve on its Board of Health. Provincial appointees are members of the public who bring their community perspective to the Board of Health.
The Board of Health is accountable for implementing the protocols and guidelines in the Ontario Public Health Standards. Public health works in the areas of protection, prevention and promotion to have healthy, vibrant communities. The Huron County Health Unit will be amalgamating with the Perth District Health Unit on January 1, 2020 to become the Huron Perth Health Unit (to be known as Huron Perth Public Health).
