cloudLibrary comes to Huron County Library!

Huron County Library is excited to announce a new digital collection for patrons – CloudLibrary!

On November 18th, the new Cloud Library collection will replace our access to the provincial Overdrive collection and will provide access to over 120,000 ebook and eaudiobook titles to you!

Our participation in the provincial Overdrive collection started in 2009 to offer downloadable content to our patrons. This collection was successful and provided Huron County residents with access to ebooks and eaudiobook materials through a shared collection.

As the demand for digital content rose, Huron County Library created its own collection within the provincial Overdrive Collection. The demand is such now that Huron County Library has decided to move its collection from Overdrive to Cloud Library, which will provide greater access to materials with a shared collection with 25 other membership libraries.

Huron County Library is confident this new shared collection will meet the ebook and eaudiobook needs of our patrons.

Training sessions and demonstrations will be provided at each over out twelve branches in November and December to assist with the transition to cloudLibrary.

Access to the provincial Overdrive collection will end on December 31, 2019.
