The Huron County Economic Development Board (HCEDB) is public/private sector board established to advance the overall prosperity of Huron County using best practices in economic development and community engagement.
The HCEDB is made up of 11 business and government leaders from across the County; County Warden, Past Warden, one County Councilor and eight community business leaders. Members of the inaugural Board were appointed by County Council for a one-year term. After the first year, Board members will have staggered terms of one, two and three years. Members are selected on a skills-based system with weight given to their extensive network and County influence.
Minutes from previous meetings, which have been adopted or amended at County Council, are available under the Council & Administration section of our website.
