Don’t Let the Bugs Stop Your Fun
Huron County Health Unit reminds people, when enjoying outdoor activities, to protect themselves against mosquito and tick bites. Precautions include: wearing light-coloured, long-sleeved shirts, long pants and closed-toed shoes, using an insect repellent approved by Health Canada, limit time outdoors at dawn and dusk, and conducting head-to-toe tick checks. Visit ontario.ca/lyme for more information.
