Land Sale by Tender
34239 Dashwood Road, South Huron, Ontario

The Corporation of the County of Huron invites offers to purchase property owned by the Corporation of the County of Huron. Tenders for the purchase of the lands described as 34239 Dashwood Road, SOUTH HURON, Ontario will be accepted if sealed in the envelope that accompanies the Tender to Purchase form by 3:00 PM (local time) on Thursday February 16th, 2012.

The Tenders will be opened in public in the Committee Room, County of Huron Court House Building, One Courthouse Square, Goderich, Ontario immediately following the 3:00 PM (local time) deadline.

Tenders must be submitted using the prescribed Tender to Purchase form (fee of $30) and must be accompanied by a deposit in the form of a certified cheque, bank draft or money order payable to the Treasurer County of Huron and representing 20 per cent of the tender amount.

The Corporation of the County of Huron makes no representation regarding the title and will provide an opportunity for potential purchasers to view the property on Friday January 27th, 2012 from Noon until 4:00 PM (local time) with the alternate date due to bad weather of Monday January 30th, 2012 from Noon until 4:00 PM (local time). The subject property is being sold "as is/where is".

This sale is governed by the Corporation of the County of Huron's Procedural By-law No. 26-2011 and makes no representations and provides no warranty. The successful tenderer will be required to pay the amount tendered, HST if applicable, and the relevant land transfer tax within 30 calendar days of being notified that he/she is the successful tenderer.
