Ontario Works payments will not be mailed out due to a potential disruption in mail delivery.
If you receive your Ontario Works payment through direct deposit, payments will continue to be deposited into your bank account as usual. Your statement will be mailed. Drug cards that were valid for the month of June will be valid until the end of July.
If you receive your Ontario Works payment by cheque in the mail, please note the following:
Staff will be available on Thursdays from 2:30 to 4:00 at the following locations for you to pick up your cheque:

You will need valid photo ID to pick up your cheque. Acceptable documents are:
- a valid passport,
- citizenship card,
- driver’s license,
- health card.
If you are not able to attend at the designated pick-up centre’s day/time, please contact that office for alternate arrangements.
Please note that during postal delivery disruptions, you are required to report income and changes to your circumstances. This information can be left at the Ontario Works office or any of the Centre of Employment and Learning.
