The Marine Museum is located in the wheel house of the "SS Shelter Bay" at the Goderich Harbour.
This small museum is dedicated to the men and women who made their living on Lake Huron.
While visiting the Marine Museum, visitors will also enjoy observing the shipping activities of the Goderich Harbour. Ocean going vessels from all over the world travel to Goderich to fill their holds with the locally mined salt and renowned Huron County grains.
The nearby boardwalk and three public beaches are great places to take a stroll or to cool off. Children's playground equipment and recreational areas also make this an excellent place to relax after a pleasant day of sight seeing and travelling in Goderich and area.
Open daily, July and August, from 1:00 - 4:30 PM. Admission included with admission to the Huron County Museum or Huron Historic Gaol.
