(1) Casual Cook

Huronlea Home for the Aged has an opening for one casual Cook. The cook is responsible for food preparation, and ensuring cleanliness of the foodservice area.

Qualifications

• Branch 1 Cooks Certification.
• Certificate from recognized cooking course.
• Current safe food handling certificate.
• Experience in institutional cooking.
• Previous experience with the elderly an asset.

Wage: As per SEIU Collective Agreement

Huronlea Home for the Aged is one of Huron County’s municipal homes, providing health services for people who can no longer live independently in their own homes and need nursing and personal care 24 hours.
