• Each section lists materials appropriate for a specific audience, determined by Grade Level - Primary (K-3), Junior (4-6), and Intermediate (7-8)
• Within each audience, the resources are sorted into two strands, or topics - Active Participation and Healthy Living (including growth & development, healthy eating, personal safety and substance abuse)
• Under each topic is an ALPHABETICAL listing of all available resources by title, complete with summaries, resource type, date of production, loan period and where the item is available. If materials are available online for downloading, this information is provided.

Booking Procedures

1. Contact the Health Unit where the item is available.
2. Requests can be faxed, e-mailed, or phoned in. Please include your name, phone number, school and the proposed date you wish to use the resource. Book early to make sure that the requested resource is available on the date required.
3. If the resource(s) are not available for the requested date, an alternative date will be offered and a confirmation of your request will be returned to you. Please advise as soon as possible if alternative dates do not fit your teaching schedule.
4. Resources will be put aside for pick up at the Health Unit, or sent to you through the appropriate school board courier.
5. All items borrowed must be returned to the Health Unit by the due date, unless they have been identified as items to be kept by the class or teacher.
