Congratulations on your pregnancy!
Pregnancy can be an exciting time of change. As you embark on this adventure you may find that you have questions along the way. The Huron County Health Unit offers prenatal education classes. These classes are beneficial to help answer your questions and provide you with knowledge to assist you with becoming a parent.
Prenatal Education
This prenatal program is geared for expectant parents in the second and third trimester of pregnancy. These sessions focus on aspects of labour and birth, breastfeeding, what to expect after delivery and bringing baby home.
The series of 4 classes are offered monthly. Registration is required. Call us for more information or to register. Below is a listing of dates for the classes, offered in Clinton, Exeter and Wingham. Sessions run from 7 to 9 PM.

Registration and Other Resources
Clinton classes are held at the Huron County Health Unit, 77722B London Road, South, Clinton, located behind Huronview. Exeter classes are held at Hansen's Independent Grocer, 62 Thames Road West. Wingham classes are held at the Wingham Public Library, 281 Edward Street.
If you are unable to attend, possibly due to transportation issues, etc., contact the health unit for information.
Additional support (i.e. prenatal vitamins, milk coupons, car seats, etc) is available, for qualifying parents, from the Health Unit through the Pathways to Self-Sufficiency program.
