Proof of immunization may be required before you can enter certain countries.
When planning travel to foreign destinations, you should consult a travel medical clinic or medical practitioner at least 3 months before your scheduled trip to find out what shots you will need.
This consultation will determine your need for any vaccinations or medications, such as medicines to prevent malaria (antimalarials) or altitude sickness.
Some immunization series take up to 8 weeks to complete, so be sure to allow enough time. Appointments are required.
