As of October 2008 the Huron County Health Unit began a new vaccine delivery schedule to those providers who we hold vaccine delivery agreements with. The new schedule is as follows:
The health unit delivers to the South part of the County, South of Highway 8 on the first Tuesday of every month.
The health unit delivers to the North part of the County, North of Highway 8 on the first Thursday of every month.
Should you need vaccine outside of these delivery dates please notify the health unit staff and arrange to pick-up the vaccine at the health unit. Please come with a hard sided cooler prepared according to Cold Chain procedures and specifications.
We realize that the flu season is an exceptionally busy time. For the months of October and November we will deliver flu vaccine:
- On the third Tuesday of the month to the south part of the County of Huron
- On the third Thursday of the month to the north part of the county.
