A strong message about choices, responsibility and integrity is being delivered to several local schools with an anti-drug documentary called EFFED.

The Effective Fight for Eliminating Drugs (EFFED) presentation features a documentary that takes an honest and graphic look at the role drugs play in the lives of some teens. Stratford-based MS2 Productions completed the documentary as part of the Perth County Task Force on Crystal Meth's drug prevention initiative.

Executive Producer Melissa Schenk says speaking to the students has been a "real eye opener" because some have been very candid about knowing someone who has a drug problem.

Schenk says the students seem to be getting the message and will be able to make educated decisions when it comes to drugs.
