Bed bugs are small insects (about the size of an apple seed)
with oval-shaped bodies and no wings. They usually come out and bite at night.
Long considered eradicated, bed bugs are making a comeback.
They are being found in cities across the country.
In Huron County we have not seen the increase in bed bugs that has hit the more
metropolitan areas. That does not mean however, that these nuisance pests will
not make their way here in the future.
It is possible for anyone, anywhere to experience a bed bug infestation, but
bed bugs can be prevented and controlled.
