The Huron County Health Unit is committed to ensuring food handlers and the public have information to prepare food safely.

Safe Food Handler Course

We regularly offer a Safe Food Handler Course for anyone involved in food preparation handling, including workers, volunteers and anyone who cooks at home.

Education Sessions

Our public health inspectors are available to provide informative sessions on food safety for 10 or more participants in volunteer organizations.

We also work with schools, upon request, providing food safety information and demonstrations, such as GloGerm handwashing kits.
