The Beach Water Monitoring Report 2008 contains detailed information on beach water quality, both shoreline and inland, in Huron County for 2008. Testing took place from June 3, 2008 to August 28, 2008.
The Beach Water Monitoring Report 2009 is now available.
The 2008 Beach Water Quality Report includes the following information:
- Posted lakeshore and inland swimming location map;
- 1-3-5 year lakeshore and inland swimming location geometric mean beach water result summaries;
- Beach Water Monitoring Program promotional materials;
- 2004-2008 (5 year shoreline E.coli Geometric Mean) chart;
- 2004-2008 (5 year inland E.coli Geometric Mean) chart;
- Number of days swimming locations sampled in 2008;
- Individual swimming location sampling data; and
- Seasonal 10 year E.coli geometric mean trend.
