Award Winning Nurses

On May 11th at the Huron Perth Providers Council and Health Kick Inspiration Event the nurses of the Huron County Health Unit were honoured with the Innovation Award. The award is for their outstanding effort during the H1N1 pandemic and immunization campaign, and in particular the use of a new computer system.

I would like to extend my wholehearted congratulations to the nurses. This is a tremendous accomplishment to be chosen and recognized by all the health providers in Huron Perth for your hard work and dedication during a stressful and very busy time. You certainly deserve the honour and we are very proud of you.

— Dr. Nancy Cameron, Medical Officer of Health
