There is still plenty of time left in the summer for barbeques and picnics. Don't forget in planning your next outdoor meal to include food safety. Do you always use separate plates and tongs for raw and cooked items on the BBQ?

That's just one of the helpful hints you can learn about in our new section on food safety. You can find everything from food safety tips to information on foodborne illness and food allergies. We also have a section with application forms and packages if you are going to be holding a food event or opening a new restaurant.

I know you will find the information will help you enjoy a healthy rest of the summer.
