RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication'. RSS allows you to get the latest website content, in this case job postings, in one place, as soon as they are published, without having to remember to visit web sites every day. RSS feeds take the hassle out of staying up-to-date by providing you the latest information, you are interested in, without having to click from site to site.
The first thing you need is something called an RSS reader. This is a piece of software that checks RSS feeds and lets you read any new content that have been added to them. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some which are downloadable applications.
Once you have an RSS reader, all you have to do is to decide what content you want to receive in your RSS reader, by finding and subscribing to the relevant RSS feeds. You can do this through various ways, including dragging the URL of the RSS feed into your RSS reader or by copying and pasting the same URL into a new feed in your RSS reader. Most sites that offer RSS feeds use a similar orange RSS button, but some may just have a normal web link to the feed.
There are dozens of different newsreaders with new versions appearing all the time. To help you cut through the clutter, here are a few of the more popular newsreaders:

Very easy to add feeds. Free, full-featured browser (Windows, Macintosh and Linux) with a built-in news reader. More secure, flexible, easier to use than Internet Explorer. Highly recommended by many independent experts.
