What are the benefits of Best Start?

• Located in or close to schools throughout Huron County to provide child care and early learning in a familiar place
• Full and half day child care programs are available during non-school days for junior and senior kindergarten students
• Hot nutritious meals provided daily to ensure infant development
• Qualified Early Childhood Educators make sure children have mastered the basic skills to get them off to a flying start when they reach school
• Costs are the same as any child care setting, and subsidies are available for those families in need
