The County's Provincial Offences Administration office is responsible for the administration of the County's court services including setting trial dates and collection of fines laid under the Provincial Offences Act (POA).

Provincial Offences are non-criminal charges and include fines issued under the Highway Traffic Act, Liquor Licence Act, Trespass to Property Act and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act. Other charges under Provincial Offences jurisdiction include contravention to municipal by-laws and minor federal statutes such as Fish and Game.

The Provincial Offences Administration is a division of the Treasury Department.
