Re: Contract Services to develop a
Museum Study and Strategic Plan

The Cultural Services Department of the County of Huron, and the Huron County Museum and Gaol is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide professional services to undertake the development of the Huron County Museum and Gaol's 5-Year Strategic Plan, 2012-2017.

This proposed strategic plan should analyze and include a study of the Museum's opportunities and challenges and provide direction in regards to: Museum and archives space planning, storage, sponsorship, events, membership and promotion.

The study will investigate and document a range of alternatives through research and community consultation. The study's report and recommendations will be structured to support future activities and decisions by County Council, assist in developing operating and capital budgets and generate community interests.

Proponents are asked to register Expression of Interest in advance of submitting proposal by sending e-mail address and contact information to museum AT huroncounty DOT ca. This information is required to provide any updates or clarification of this RFP before the due date.

Responses may be delivered by hand, courier, or mail in a sealed envelope and clearly marked "Huron County Museum Study" will be received for the above until 4:30 PM on Thursday, May 31, 2012 by the Office of the undersigned:
