Families can stroll through the galleries, ring the bell on the locomotive, as well as enjoy a game of crokinole. Enjoy Festive Fun for St. Patrick's Day. Today is the last day to see the exhibit Collecting in the 21st Century.

Open Call to Artists

One of the most popular exhibitions of artworks created by Huron County artists is the Huron County Fine Art Show & Sale. This annual show is an initiative of the Huron County Museum designed to collect local art for the Huron County Art Bank established by a bequest from the Lattimer Estate.

All artworks submitted to this show "have some relevance to Huron County," capturing the people, lifestyle or landscape of this region. The top three entries are purchased by the Corporation of the County of Huron to become part of a growing legacy of artworks which grace numerous public spaces across the County.

A complete listing of regulations surrounding the Call for Artists is available at the Huron County Museum. Submissions must be received at the Huron County Museum by 4:30 PM on Saturday, March 31, 2012.
