Huron County's long term care homes provide comprehensive health care services for the frail and dependent adult resident. This includes help with activities of daily living and assistance with medications, treatments, and general nursing needs.
As part of our Nursing Services, we are proud to offer several professional services to provide quality resident care:
- Regular visitation by our Medical Director and 24 hour medical on-call service
- Registered nursing care is provided twenty-four hours a day
- Certified personal support workers
- Dental hygienist

- Handle with care, no lift policy
- Personalized Health Care Team, including family members, with the focus being on a holistic approach
- Laboratory services
- Palliative care
- Pastoral care
- Pharmacy services including a consulting Pharmacist
- Respite or short stay care
- Social worker
- Therapeutic baths
- Wheelchair accessible transportation and assistance with arrangement for appointments
- Enhanced safety features such as having a secure unit, a high level of lighting, emergency call system at the bedside, well-marked doorways, and extensive hand rails. There are also security/supervision devices to reduce the risk for those who might wander out of the building.
