Huronview (Clinton)

Surrounded by picturesque farmland and ponds, Huronview Home for the Aged is located south of Clinton, on the acreage where the County of Huron established its first Home for the Aged in 1895. This long term care home offers 118 long term care beds and 2 Short-Stay (Respite) beds.

Huronlea (Brussels)

Huronlea Home for the Aged is located in the rural Municipality of Morris-Turnberry on Brussels Line, in the County of Huron. The grand opening occurred on June 25, 1993. Huronlea is home for 64 residents and has been approved for 62 Long Term Care beds and 2 Short-Stay (Respite) beds.

Both homes are designed to provide health services for people who can no longer live independently in their own homes or need nursing or 24 hour personal care. These long term care homes offer:

• Registered nursing care provided 24 hours a day.
• A Medical Doctor who visits the home on a regular basis and is on call for residents requiring immediate care.
• A secure unit, for residents, who may wander or leave the building complete with security/supervision devices.
• Staff and family meetings where personalized care is discussed.
• Healthy living, recreational and socialization activities to provide entertainment and exercise.
• Nutritious meals with a dietician on staff.
• A safe, comfortable home-like environment where residents are well cared for in private or semi-private rooms.
• A full range of services, both funded and non-funded.
• Many safety features, such as handrails, well-marked doorways, and a high level of lighting.
• A home-like setting, quality staff and a friendly atmosphere!
