Huron County's Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is dedicated to continually improving not only their reaction and response times within the County of Huron, but also the patient care that is rendered to the citizens of Huron County.
Huron County's Emergency Medical Services (EMS):
- Provides quality service through professionalism, innovation and teamwork
- Employs 52 full-time and 22 part-time Primary/Advanced Care Paramedics, 6 Supervisors, plus Support Staff
- Operates 10 Ambulances, 5 Emergency Response Vehicles and 1 Emergency Support Trailer
- Maintains 4 ambulance bases located in Exeter, Goderich, Tuckersmith and Wingham, plus 6 posts in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh, Bayfield, Blyth, Brussels, Howick and St. Joseph
- Responds to approximately 11,000 requests for ambulance service annually
